Important Information:
- Attention 7th Graders-Looking for another leadership opportunity to join? WEB Leaders are current 7th Grade Students that assist incoming 6th Graders in their transition to school. This is a great opportunity to share your knowledge and help others! Being a WEB Leader will not interfere with any other leadership classes. Applications are available in Student Services. Applications are due February 25th. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Young, Ms. Irvine, or Ms. Wightman.
- Ready…aim…dodge! Grab your friends and join the Kinard Dodgeball Tournament on Thursday, March 12th from 3:30-7:30 pm. Teams of six are just $30, or sign up as a free agent. Scan the QR code on hallway posters or visit tinyurl.com/Kinard dodgeball.
- One of the spring sports that Kinard offers is Unified Basketball. This is a team that unites athletes and partners to enjoy the game of basketball and engage in a team experience while working with students with disabilities. Our season runs from April 6th to May 7th and we have 2 practices and one game per week. Applications are available in Student Services and are due by Thursday, March 5th. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Irvine.
- Tomorrow is the last day that Give Next will be holding their fundraiser this year. After school students will be selling crafts, including 3-D printed items. All money raised will go to nonprofit organizations in Northern Colorado that support the mental well-being of youth and families.
- Pop and Frozen Fridays is here tomorrow! Stop by the Mustang Corral after school to pick up yummy treats!
Clubs:
- Dungeons and Dragons Club meets today from 3:15 to 4:20 in Mr. Costello’s room 416
- Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Teens Club will meet tomorrow from 7:30 - 8 am in room 300
- Pixels and Pencils has been cancelled tomorrow and will return the following week
Athletics:
- The Varsity Basketball Team had a come-from-behind win yesterday against Lesher to secure a 4 point victory. JV went to overtime but lost by one point. C Team used tough defense to grab a victory at home, and the ball didn't bounce the D team way in a loss. Monday JV and Varsity are at home against Lincoln. C and D teams have a Bye.
- Wrestlers have a match today against Lincoln here at Kinard, release wrestlers at 2:30, match starts at 3:30.
