Important Information:

  • Hey Students! Did you know that we have a mascot named Morty the Mustang?  How would you like to be the next Morty? We need one student with Kinard spirit and energy to wear our mascot costume at an upcoming high school football game played at CSU’s football stadium.  If you are interested, pick up a permission slip from the Student Services Office, fill it out with your parents and turn it back into Student Services by this Friday.  We will pick one lucky winner next week.
  • Thanks to everyone who participated in the Wellness Fair and Bingo Contest last Thursday.  We are grateful for generous community partners who donated many prizes.  We have many prize winners.  If you hear your name called here, please come down to student services to receive your prize.  Some additional winners will be announced at lunch.

Clubs:

  • MathCounts has their first meeting today after school from 3:15 to 4:00 pm in the Media Center.  MathCounts is a club that prepares students for math competitions throughout the year and to learn advanced math competition strategies.  Please see Mrs. Williams if you have questions in Room 322.

 

Athletics:

  • Girls Tennis have a match today against Webber at Fossil Creek Park.  Release players at 1:15, load bus at 1:35. Good Luck Mustang Girls!!
  • Girls Varsity and C Team Volleyball Teams got important wins over Preston last night in two game sweeps.  D Team split and the JV Team worked hard but didn't come away with the win.  JV and Varsity will be at home against Blevins on Wednesday, come and cheer them on!!
  • Boys Tennis won 6-0 against Webber yesterday.  Boys Tennis will have their next match tomorrow against Lesher.
  • Our Football Teams have games tomorrow against Blevins.
