Important Information:

  • Hey Mustangs! Talent Show audition sign-ups have already begun! If you’d like to audition for our show, be sure to grab an audition form from the folder outside Room 311 (Mr. Graham’s Room), then visit the Talent Show website at www.tinyurl.com/kinardtalent to sign up for an audition slot. Auditions will take place after school on Monday, September 29th and Wednesday, October 1st in the choir room.  See Mr. Graham with any questions. 
  • Pop and Frozen Fridays is back tomorrow!  Stop by the Mustang Corral after school to try LOTS of new flavors from Kilwin’s, Walrus, and Mary’s Mountain Cookies including Chocolate Sea Salt and Caramel, S’Mores, Lemon Sorbetto, Cotton Candy, Blue Moon, and Chocolate and Mint with Edible Cookie Dough.  YUMMY!

 

Clubs:

  • Dungeons and Dragons Club meets today from 3:15 to 4:20 in Mr. Costello’s room (416)
  • Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Teens Club will meet tomorrow from 7:30 to 8 am in Room 300.
  • Pixels and Pencils meets tomorrow from 3:15 to 4:15 in Ms. Houston’s art room (509)
  • Fitness Club will begin next week on September 24th. If you are interested in structured work outs in order to build strength and fitness, please come to our informational meeting on Wednesday, September 24th, after school at 3:15 in the Fitness Room by the small gym. If you have more questions, contact Mr. Rollings in Room 312.
  • Are you interested in learning advanced science and math? Would you like to use your knowledge to compete with other middle schools in Colorado and across the United States? Join Science Bowl! We meet every Wednesday from 3:15-4:15 in Ms. Eitsert's Room (Room 313). Hope to see you there!

 

Athletics:

  • Unfortunately our Football Team did not get wins yesterday against a physical Preston team.  They will play next week against Wellington.
  • Boys Tennis won all 9 lines, great job boys! The boys play next on Monday
  • Timnath proved to be a tough opponent yesterday in Volleyball.  The JV and Varsity teams were away and faced intense play.  Varsity lost in 2 and JV pushed it to 3 games.  C team got two wins behind more strong serving and the D team split two exciting games.  Monday brings Boltz to Kinard for the JV and Varsity team, while C and D will be at Boltz.
  • Girls Tennis play Lesher today at Fossil Creek Park. Player release time is 1:15 as the bus will leave at 1:40. Good luck Girls!
  • Our Cross Country Team has a meet today at Twin Silo Park.  Release runners at 1:30, load bus at 1:50.
