Education and Professional Background:
Sarah Socolofsky taught high school French for 24 years, including at Fossil Ridge High School and Poudre High School. Sarah has been at Kinard Middle School for three years. Sarah earned her bachelor's degree in French from Colorado State University and her master’s degree in Special Education from the University of California in Riverside. Teaching middle school has been a new and welcome experience. Sarah has enjoyed the the culture at Kinard and feels lucky to be a part of the staff. Sarah teaches all levels of French (French 1A, French 1B and French 2) as well as Family and Consumer Science Explorations and International Foods.
Personal Interests and Hobbies:
Sarah loves to travel (especially to France!) and sample foods from different regions of the world. She also loves to cook and collects and reads cookbooks extensively which encourages her to experiment with new recipes and cuisines. Sarah spends lots of time with her family (she has 3 sons ranging in age from 23 years old to three years old) as well as her partner, two dogs and a cat. Sarah loves to share her passion of traveling and cooking with her students!
