September 5, 2024 Community Extravaganza

Sept. 5 community event

Mark your calendars for an evening of fun, food, and wellness! 🎉 On Thursday, September 5th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, we're hosting our annual Kinard Community Extravaganza. It will be four events in one epic celebration!

🎈 20th Birthday Celebration: Celebrate Kinard’s 20th birthday with us! We are proud of our history and want to share a special evening with our former and current Mustangs!

🍔 Food Trucks: Indulge in a variety of delectable dishes from food trucks that will be parked on-site. There will be plenty of options for everyone's taste buds!

🌿 Wellness Fair: Take a break from the delicious treats and explore our wellness fair, where you can learn about maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Engage in interactive activities, get valuable health tips, and discover resources that promote physical and mental well-being.

🎶 Taste of Kinard: Our award-winning choir has been invited to perform in England in December 2024. As part of their fundraising efforts, they are sponsoring a Taste of Kinard as part of the evening’s festivities. Tokens will be available for purchase on the choir website and can be exchanged for dessert samples. These will be in addition to a few food trucks that will also be selling desserts.

This event is not just about food and fun—it's about coming together as a community to celebrate our history as a school and enjoy a memorable evening together. If you would like to help in a volunteer role, please review and sign-up for volunteer options here

Bring your family and friends, umbrellas, lawn chairs or blankets, and we’ll see you in the Kinard courtyard and athletic fields on September 5th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. If you have any questions about this event, please contact Cecilia Bonertz, Academic Dean, at cbonertz@psdschools.org. 🥳🎈
