Important Information:
- Hey Mustangs! Get excited because Talent Show auditions start next week! Auditions will take place after school on Monday, September 29th and Wednesday, October 1st in the choir room. Any interested performers will need to sign up for an audition slot at the Talent Show website at www.tinyurl.com/kinardtalent, then grab an audition form from the folder outside Room 311 (Mr. Graham’s room) and bring it to your audition. We look forward to seeing your incredible skills! If you have any questions about the Talent Show, be sure to see Mr. Graham this week.
- Thanks for supporting CANS Around The Oval! Friday will be our next collection day for CANS Around the Oval. It will also be a bonus day- double-points day, which means every can or food item you donate counts for twice its points. Bring all donations to your first period class tomorrow. Donating helps out food-insecure families and the food bank a lot. Thank you for supporting those in need!
- Do you want to remember this year’s best memories? Then buy your Yearbook!! You can get it at Jostens.com or by scanning the QR codes in the hallway AFTER school. Buy now while it’s at the lowest price.
- We’d like to take a moment to recognize Rosh Hashanah (say: ROSH hah-SHAH-nuh), the Jewish New Year, which began at sundown on Monday, September 22, and ends tonight after sunset. Rosh Hashanah is one of the most important holidays in the Jewish faith. It’s a time for reflection, renewal, and new beginnings. People who celebrate often gather with family and friends for special meals, sweet foods like apples and honey, and meaningful traditions and prayers. We share this to honor and support all of our students and families who celebrate Rosh Hashanah. As a school community, we’re committed to recognizing and respecting the many cultures, holidays, and traditions that make us who we are. To everyone celebrating, we wish you a sweet and happy New Year—Shanah Tovah (say: shah-NAH toe-VAH)!
