Important Information:

  • Kinard's first annual bike/walk to school challenge begins Monday, October 3rd! Download your tracker from the parent/family newsletter or see a PE teacher for a printed copy! Bike/walk to school 4 or more times in the month of October and you will earn an award certificate, sticker and entries to win additional prizes at the end of the month! See a PE teacher for more information.

  • It's Restart Friday!

    • Teachers and students please restart your laptops today during ELO. A restart refreshes all connections, clears memory, and initiates updates. Thank you for following through with this restart today to continue to ensure our laptops run smoothly. 

  • This Sunday is National Custodian’s Day! Please celebrate Mr. E and our amazing custodians by giving them a big “Thank You” and by doing your best to always clean up after yourselves! We get to learn in a beautiful and clean building, and we are so appreciative of our custodians for helping us keep it a nice place to be!

  • Kinard Character Challenge Winners are:

  • Please come down to the front office to claim your prize
  • This is the last day to claim any LOST & FOUND items before everything is donated this weekend.

  • Fun Fact: In any year, no month ends on the same weekday as September. However, each September begins on the same weekday as December. 

Clubs:

  • Fitness club is on Monday, right after school until 4pm in the small Gym and again on Wednesday. 
  • Math Counts is on Tuesday of next week in the Media Center from 3:15pm-4:15pm. 

 

Athletics:

  • Our JV tennis teams are playing today.  Tennis blue is released at 1:30 and tennis gold is released at 1:35.
  • Our volleyball teams play Belvins today.  Varsity and JV are released at 1:35 and C1 & C2 are released at 2:30.

.Menu:

  • Today the lunch options are:
    • Chicken and waffles
    • Ham or turkey and cheese sandwich
    • Meat Lovers pizza
  • Served for breakfast on Monday is a whole grain waffle
