Important Information:

International Doge Day
- November 2 is International Doge Day on the National Day Calendar as a day to encourage people to Do Only Good Everyday. We are on a mission to spread positivity, fun, and joy throughout the world.

Wow, Kinard, everyone is looking groovy in their neon and tie dye gear today! Don’t forget that tomorrow is your last day to participate in Mustang Spirit Week. Tomorrow is Sports Team Day so wear gear, a jersey, or uniform from your favorite team or a team that you play for. Go Mustangs!

Hey everyone, we want to take a minute to talk about something super important. Everyone struggles, even if it doesn’t seem like it. It’s OK to not be OK. Here at Kinard and in PSD, we care about ourselves and each other. We all belong here, and you are never alone. If it just feels like too much and you don’t know what to do, remember:
- If you need support in school now, connect with a trusted adult or a counselor. Counselors will connect you to help.
- If someone you know needs help, ask how they’re doing, listen to them, and connect them to a trusted adult or a counselor. If you’re not in school, talk to a family member or call or text 988.
- As we mentioned, we have incredible counselors, Ms. Irvine and Mrs. Young to talk to, and we have a student wellness room that students can access.
- Again, it’s OK not to be OK. There are resources and people available to help. You are never alone, there is always hope.

Wow, Kinard! We have over 100 responses so far on the Community Concerns Survey. If you haven’t made your voice heard yet, you still have time! Look for the QR code on the Give Next posters hanging around the school and in teachers’ classrooms. BEFORE ELO today, please take 30 seconds to complete the survey and tell us where the $5000 is most needed. Thank you!

Attention GIVE NEXT Students: This is a reminder that Give Next now meets upstairs in the green pod in room 519 every Thursday for ELO. Show up on time no later than 2:30 today. Thank you.

“Do you have any excess candy after Halloween? If so, you can bring it to school and drop it off in the main office. All donated candy will be distributed to soldiers and veterans through Soldiers Angels. We will be collecting excess candy until next Wednesday.”

While you're donating any of your extra candy please check the LOST & FOUND for any items you may have misplaced.

Clubs:

Hey Kinard, we have a new student-led club that will start tomorrow! Do you like to play chess or would you like to learn? Then come to Chess Club on Friday mornings before school in Mr. Pravlik’s room 524. See the bulletin board outside of Student Services for more information about Chess Club or any of our other student-led clubs.
