Important Information:                                                                                                                      

  • Mustangs…Winter Break is the perfect time to cozy up with a good book! Come to the library anytime today to pick up a Winter Read-A-Thon form-complete all the activities to get a sweet treat, and a chance to win a fun prize!
     
  • Lost & Found will be picked up today!  Please stop at the cafeteria and check to see if we have your missing item.
     
  • Pop and Frozen Fridays is here today!  Stop by the Mustang Corral after school to pick up special treats for holiday break-Wassail, sweet breads, and cheesecake bites!
     
  • Today is Restart Friday! Regular and specialty ELO Teachers: please remind your students to restart their laptops today to refresh connections and process updates. And don’t forget to also restart your classroom spare laptop. Thank you for helping to keep our laptops in tip-top shape!
     
  • With the upcoming Winter Break, we want to make sure all students clean out their lockers before leaving today. Please especially focus on taking home any food or perishable items that could make a mess or attract unwanted critters over the break! The break is also a great time to wash your PE clothes, organize your binders, and restock any needed supplies for next semester's classes.

  • Pixels and Pencils meets today from 3:15 to 4:15 in Ms. Houston’s art room 509
  • Kinard Student Wellness Team with Mr. Benson meets Tuesday after break from   7:30 - 8 am in the cafeteria
  • Yodeler’s Society meets Tuesday after break from 7:30 to 8:00 am in the big gym
  • MathCounts meets Tuesday after break from 3:15 to 4:00 in the Media Center
  • Comic Bookers meets Tuesday after break from 3:15 to 4:15 in Mr. Graham’s room 311
  • GSA Club meets Tuesday after break from 3:15 to 4:00 in Mr. Rollings room 312

 

Athletics:

  • Our Varsity Basketball Team finished their season last night with a tremendous team effort and a big win over Lincoln. We are proud of our team for their resilience and want to congratulate them on their third place finish. 
  • Wrestling and Girls Basketball start after winter break. If you are interested in participating on either team, make sure to talk with your family over break.
