Important Information:                                                                                                                      

  • Kinard is participating in the Tour de Turkey event! Please donate FROZEN Turkeys, Hams, and Chickens on Thursday November 20th from 7:30-8:00 am in front of the Kinard main entrance. They will be donated to the Larimer County Food Bank. Gobble Gobble!
     
  • This week marks the 50th Anniversary of IDEA and Inclusion. IDEA makes sure every child  has a fair chance to learn and be included, no matter what challenges they have. Inclusion means making sure everyone feels welcome, respected, and valued for who they are. It’s about noticing and celebrating our differences-like our cultures, abilities, and ideas and making sure no one is left out. When we include others we create a community where everyone can belong, learn, and shine together. 

    Each day this week, you’ll take part in small actions and reflections that help make our school a place where everyone feels seen, heard, and included.

    Today our theme is Learn and Listen - Challenge: Learn one new fact about a culture, ability, or background different from your own.

    Reminder: On Thursday this week, support inclusion by wearing bright colors to show “Together We Shine!” On Friday, wear Mustang gear to “Team Up!” and show that when unified, we can and we will. If you are wearing Mustang gear on Friday, you can get a free bag of popcorn at lunch!!

  • Animal Lovers Alliance meets today after school from 3:15 to 4:15 in Ms. Eitsert’s Room 313
  • Baking Club meets today after school from 3:15 to 4:30 in Room 300
  • Fitness Club meets today after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in the Fitness Room by the small gym
  • Animation Club meets today after school from 3:15 to 4:15 in Mrs. Springett’s Room 323
  • Pickleball Club meets today after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in the cafeteria
  • Kinard Student Wellness Team with Mr. Benson meets tomorrow before school from 7:30 to 8 am in the cafeteria.
  • Yodeler’s Society meets tomorrow morning from 7:30 to 8:00 am in the big gym.
  • MathCounts meets tomorrow after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in the Media Center.
  • Student-Led Comic Bookers meets tomorrow after school from 3:15 to 4:15 in Mr. Graham’s Room 311
  • GSA Club meets tomorrow after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in Mr. Rollings Room 312.

 

Athletics:

  • Our Boys Basketball have games today against Preston. Varsity/JV play at Preston, release players at 1:40, load bus at 2:00.  C/D Teams play here, release players at 2:30-game starts at 3:30.
