Important Information:

  • We are recognizing two students today that have been nominated by their peers and the Kinard staff as representing Kinard Character.  The Kinard Character Award for this week goes to Zadia Diaz and Kate Roberts. Congratulations Kate and Zadia!  Please go to the main office today to collect your prize.

  • Did you turn in your laptop yesterday and forget your charger?  If so, come by the media center today and turn that charger in!  Make sure you tell the person at the desk your name so you get credit for the return.

  • Locker cleanout starts today during ELO with 7th grade!  On Monday our 6th grade will clean out their lockers and on Tuesday it will be 8th grade locker cleanout.

Here are the things you need to know to be prepared for locker clean out:

  • Bring home as much as possible from your locker BEFORE your assigned day.
  • Bring an extra bag or two to carry anything left on your locker on cleanout day.
  • Donation bins for unwanted items and recycle bins and trash cans will be available during locker cleanout.
  • Please remover all belongings and stickers, clean any marks and make your locker look better than you found it.  You will need to have a teacher verify that the locker is clean.
  • There will not be any locker access for any grade level on the last day of school.

  • We have lost and found items set up on tables in the cafeteria!  All items left on the last day of school will be donated.   Valuable items can be found in the main office (think glasses, air pods, etc).

Sports:

  • Attention all track and field athletes!  Our end of the season pizza party is today after school!  We will celebrate in the cafeteria from 3:15 until 4.  Also, bring your clean uniform to turn in.   See you at 3:15!

  • Our very own Coach Hebert is sponsoring a summer running group that promises fun and fitness!  This group will meet every Thursday evening June 2nd through August 4th.  Find out details on the Kinard website under Athletics/ Cross Country.

Menu:

  • Today for lunch we are serving cheese pizza or buffalo chicken pizza and the deli line and the hot sandwich line will be open.
