Education and Professional Background:
Marc Pravlik will be teaching 8th grade science and Global Leadership at Kinard Middle School as well as coaching the Kinard football team. Marc grew up in Boulder, Colorado and joined the United States Marine Reserve after high school. After a year and a half of training, he was able to continue in the Marine reserves and get his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Kinesiology from the University of Northern Colorado. After working in the fitness industry, Marc went back to school and got a Master’s of Education degree and began teaching career in 2004.
Personal Interests and Hobbies:
Like so many Coloradans, Marc loves the outdoors. He enjoys biking, hiking, camping, and anything else that gets him outside. Marc also loves playing chess, reading, meditating, and is passionate about health and fitness. Marc enjoys spending time with his kids, Nick and Brooke, and wife Monica, who teaches 3rd grade at O’dea Core Knowledge.
