Ms. Blumberg
6th Grade Science and Social Studies/Science Olympiad Coordinator
Education and Professional Background:
Ms. Blumberg has a passion for science and sharing it with young minds. She has a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Biology, as well as a master’s degree in Special Education, both from Western Governors University. This is Ms. Blumberg's fourth year at Kinard, and she has spent many additional years in education as a Pre-K teacher, paraprofessional, coach, and substitute teacher. Ms. Blumberg also has the privilege of being the coordinator of Kinard's Science Olympiad. She can’t wait to start sharing her love of science and history with the students of Kinard.
Personal Interests and Hobbies:
Ms. Blumberg loves spending time with her son Cameron, who will be entering 1st grade this year. Together they enjoy traveling, board games, their 2 cats, and spending time outdoors. Ms. Blumberg also enjoys baking, puzzles, cycling, paddle boarding, hiking, and relaxing with a good book.
