Important Information:

  • Web Leader Applications are due to Student Services by tomorrow, Wednesday, March 5.  Please make sure to turn in your application so you don’t miss out on this leadership opportunity.
  • The 2nd Annual Kinard Dodgeball Tournament takes place next Thursday, March 13th! Registration for teams closes this Friday, March 7th.  There’s still time to register as a team of 6! Captains-please make sure to pay your team's $30 team fee to Mrs. Varn in the Main office or on School Pay

  • MathCounts meets today after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in the Media Center
  • GSA Club meets today after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in Room 300
  • Fitness Club meets tomorrow after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in the Fitness Center
  • Theater Club meets tomorrow after school from 3:15 to 4:15
  • Stem Club meets tomorrow after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in Mrs. Ashe’s room (315)
  • Science Bowl meets tomorrow after school from 3:15 to 4:30 in Ms. Eitsert’s room (313)
  • The Give Next Club meets tomorrow after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in the Media Center

  • Social Justice Service Learning Team meets tomorrow during ELO at 2:35 in the Media Center
  • Kinard Student Wellness Team with Mr. Benson meets tomorrow at 2:35 during ELO in the cafeteria

 

Athletics:                                          

  • Congrats to the JV Basketball Team who ended their season with a big win yesterday against Preston. Great job Varsity for a hard fought game against top seeded Preston!  We play at 5:00 against Lesher on Wednesday at Rocky Mountain High School. 
  • If you are interested in playing Unified basketball, applications are now available in Student Services. This is an opportunity to partner up with students, share the fun of basketball and play four games.   6th, 7th and 8th graders can play Unified Basketball. See Ms Irvine, if you have any questions
  • Wrestling will take on Blevins this Thursday at Blevins for the last regular season match. 
  • If you are interested in trying out for the Kinard Golf Team, there will be a required informational meeting on Wednesday during ELO in the media center. If you plan to attend, let your ELO teacher know. On Wednesday go straight to the media center, you do not need to go to your ELO first. Attendance will be taken in the media center.
