Education and Professional Background:
Sarah is new to Kinard this year and is very excited to get to know the students. Sarah have been teaching high school French for the past 24 years, the last 15 of which have been at Fossil Ridge High School. Sarah earned her bachelor's degree in French from Colorado State University and her master’s degree in Special Education from the University of California in Riverside. Teaching middle school will be a new and welcome experience for Sarah and she is excited to get started. Sarah has an enormous amount of respect for the culture and climate at this school and feels lucky to have the opportunity to be a part of the staff.
Personal Interests and Hobbies:
Sarah love to travel (especially to France!) and sample foods from different regions of the world. She also love to cook and collect and read cookbooks extensively which encourages her to experiment with new recipes and cuisines. Sarah spends lots of time with her family (she has 3 sons ranging in age from 21 years old to one year old) as well as her partner and two dogs. Sarah can’t wait to share her love of traveling and cooking with her students!
