About Me

Shara Van Huss-Willis is new to Kinard this year and is excited to join the herd!  She has been teaching for over 14 years and has taught a variety of subjects and grade levels.  She has taught in Poudre School District, Boulder, CO and Austin, TX.  Some of her favorite things to do include, hiking, camping, painting, reading, writing and learning new things.  Her most favorite passtime is spending time with her two kids and husband.  She has a playful golden retriever and also enjoys reptiles and animals of all types.

As a teacher, Ms. Van Huss-Willis appreciates authenticity and positive attitudes and effort.  She wants to get to know her students, find out what inspires them and enjoy exploring learning topics together.
