Important Information:

  • National Do Something Nice Day!  

 

  • October is Futures Month:  Take time to think about what you like to do and how that might fit into a career someday.  Answer this question, if you could have any job right now what would it be and why?  The best career choices are usually ones that match your interests and abilities. 

 

  • Science Olympiad is hosting its first Thursday Night Science Night tonight Thursday, 10/05 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. We Invite you to join us if you are a student or parent interested in meeting your Event Coach, turn in your registration form, ask questions and an opportunity to meet others in the club. We will provide light snacks. The meeting is open house style, however if you choose to attend at the end of our gathering, we may be dispersed into smaller groups getting to know our choice of event and coach. You can find us in the Media center beginning at 6:00, later on in the evening some of us may be in Room 510. We hope to see you there!

 

  • National Junior Honors Society it's time to meet! We will be meeting on Monday October 9th in the Media Center, please come in the front doors of the school and be ready by 7:20 a.m. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Darrow or Mrs. Hergenreder. This is for current NJHS members only. We will open up applications for new members in January.





Clubs:

  • Mustang Kickers Club is today from 3:15 p.m.  - 4:00 p.m. in Room 416
  • FCA/FCT Club is tomorrow from 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. in Room 300.

 

Athletics:

  • Good luck to our cross country runners who will compete in the district championship meet this afternoon. Cross country runners should be released at 1:05 today. 
  • A big congratulations to our boys tennis team. Yesterday all 6 teams made it to the finals. The boys finished as district champions for the second year in a row. Wow, amazing job Boys Tennis!
  • Our volleyball team finished their regular season yesterday. Varsity and JV won their games, C1 split and C2 won!
