Important Information:

  • National Pigs in a Blanket Day

     
  • Kinard’s Character Challenge:
    • Be where your feet are: be present. In order to really be engaged with what you are learning and with those around you, you need to be actively participating, listening, and you need to be aware of the impact of your actions on those around you. 
    • Challenge: Put away distractions. Focus on being present where you are physically to really engage with the task at hand. Find ways to gain enjoyment from just being.
  • Attention 8th graders: Please don’t forget to turn in your field trip permission forms by Wednesday for the High School Visit.
  • Are you a student who loves to read and write stories?  If you do, listen up! On Thursday, the #1 best-selling author, Megan Freeman, is coming to Kinard to do a presentation and book-signing.  This event is by invitation for students but there are some seats still available.  Please stop by Student Services or see Mrs. Grigg today during ELO or after school. The first 15 students who sign up will receive an invite!

 

 Clubs:

  • Fitness club is after school today in the small gym from 3:15-4pm.
  • Theater club is after school today in the Media Center from 3:10-4:10pm.

 

Athletics:

  • The track meet that is against Lesher, originally scheduled for 4/27 is being moved to TODAY, Monday 4/24. Players will be released at 1:30pm.
  • Girls golf Match against Lesher will be played today, the release time is at 1:30pm.
  • JV Softball Game versus Wellington will play today, the release time is at 2:30pm.

Menu:

  • Today the lunch options are:
    • Mac & Cheese
    • Chicken Drumsticks & roll
    • Chef Salad
  • Served for breakfast tomorrow are mini cinnamon rolls
