Daily Announcements

Important Information:

  • National Kids and Pets Day

 

  • Attention 8th Graders, TODAY is the deadline to turn in your permission slip forms to participate in the high school visit. 

 

  • This Thursday will be Popcorn Thursday during lunch so please remember to wear your Kinard gear to school. PE Kinard clothes and sharing of Kinard gear will not get you popcorn.

 

  • The Kinard GL want to remind you about the pie in the face fundraiser. During lunch they will be collecting money from students to help raise money for water for South Sudan. Remember only 2 out of 4 from each grade level get pied, so if you want a teacher to get pied, then make sure they have the most money. The more tickets you buy the more likely YOU will get to pie the teacher you want. 

 

  • NJHS members there is an end of the year party on Monday, May 1st at 7:30 in the Media Center. There is a sign up genius in our Google Classroom if you would like to contribute.

 

  • Kinard!  The last day to check out books from our media center is next Tuesday, May 2nd!  We are fortunate enough to have many NEW books on our shelves that would love to go home with you to be read!  Please take advantage of these next few days to get a book checked out.  All books are due back on May 16th.

 

Clubs:

  • Fitness club is today after school until 4pm in the small Gym. 





 

Athletics:

  • The Unified Basketball Team plays Boltz today at Boltz.  Those players need to be released at 1:45.
  •  

Menu:

  • Today the lunch options are:
    • New item today is gochujang chicken drumsticks with soba noodles. Gochujang is a sweet and spicy pepper sauce.
    • Ham or turkey and cheese sandwich
    • Hawaiian pizza
  • Served for breakfast tomorrow is a pancake sausage wrap
