  • Hey Students! Did you know that we have a mascot and his name is Morty the mustang? How would you like to be the next Morty? We need one student with Kinard spirit and energy to wear our mascot costume at an upcoming high school football game. If you are interested, pick up a permission slip from the media center, fill it out with your parents and turn it in by next Thursday. We’ll pick one lucky winner the following week. 

 

Clubs:

  • We have a new student-led club starting on Monday, September 18. Baking Club is back and will be meeting after school on Mondays in room 300. See the student-led clubs board outside Student Services for more information.

 

  • Greetings from Science Olympiad! We are hosting our first student informational meeting on Wednesday, September 20th in Mrs. Murphy’s room, 526 during ELO. You need to come to this meeting if you want to participate in Science Olympiad Club for the 2023-2024 school year, even if you have already made contact with Mrs. Murphy. This meeting is our club’s first and attendance is a must even if you have a specialty ELO. If you are unable to attend for whatever reason, please contact Mrs. Murphy @kaylam@psdschools.org.   • Fitness Club is on Monday and Wednesday from 3:15-4:00 pm in the weight room.

 

  • Math Counts is on Tuesday in the Media Center until 4:15 pm. 

 

Athletics:

  • Our boys tennis team plays Lesher this afternoon. Release time for those boys will be 2:40 p.m.
