Important Information:

 

  • There will be an early dismissal today at 1:10pm
  • ATTENTION STUDENTS IN KINARD’S GIFTED AND TALENTED PROGRAM: On Friday, September 9, all students in Kinard’s GT Program will be meeting for lunch in the media center to kick off the year. This is a required meeting with Mrs. Grigg, Kinard’s GT Coordinator.  Please bring a sack lunch on Friday, and dessert will be provided. Look to receive your lunch pass today and go straight to the media center on Friday with your lunch. Students will be doing fun activities as they learn about the awesome year ahead in GT!   Please see Mrs. Grigg in the GT office, room 306, downstairs orange pod, for any questions.  See you on September 9th!
  • A reminder for Kinard’s Character Challenge is to demonstrate positivity and kindness no matter the situation.
  • Lunchroom Challenge: There is a tie for 1st place on what grade will earn the Otter Pop Challenge for being the cleanest during lunch. The two grades that are tied are 6th and 8th grade, but 7th grade could still win if they win the rest of the week. Mr E. believes in you 7th grade.
  • If you lost your writing utensils and are wondering where they might be, swing by the Lost and Found in the front office to see if that's where they ended up. We have also added some more items to the Lost and Found which included lunch boxes, water bottles, and etc.

 

Clubs:

  • Fitness Club starts next Monday, September 12th, every Monday and Wednesday after school until 4pm. See Mr. Rollings in Room 312 for more information.
  • MathCounts starts next Tuesday, September 13th. We will meet in the media center from 3:15-4:15. You do not need to sign up, but you can see Ms. Bonertz in the office or at lunch if you have any questions or need more information.

  • Today for lunch is Asian Teriyaki Meatballs or Chicken, Turkey or Ham & Cheese Sandwich, or Supreme Pizza. A breakfast calzone will be served for breakfast tomorrow.
