Challenge

At Kinard, we  challenge all students on a day-to-day basis through the rigorous Core Knowledge Sequence, the Colorado Academic Standards, and differentiated teaching methodologies to meet the needs of all learners.  Kinard also offers several pathways for those students who need additional challenge beyond the grade level standards. Honors classes and High School Accredited Classes ensure that students have access to extended academic opportunities.  Kinard provides choices to all students through a variety of clubs and leadership classes to enrich their educational experience.  

Kinard traditionally has 250+ students who are identified as Gifted and Talented.  Students who qualify for the Gifted and Talented program will develop and complete an authentic Advanced Learning Plan with an advisor.
