Important Information:

  • October is Futures Month!  What do you love to do? The people that are the happiest in their jobs are those that have chosen a career they truly enjoy. Think about the classes that are your favorites-there may be careers related to that subject area.
  • Remember, next week is Mustang Spirit Week! To celebrate everyone’s first quarter accomplishments and to have a little fun, we’re going to be hosting a Mustang Spirit Week starting on Monday, October 27th. Each day will be a different spirit celebration to allow everyone a chance to have fun and express themselves. We will kick off the week with Pajama Day on Monday. You can wear comfy, cozy pjs to school. Please remember that you should still follow PSD dress policy and you need to wear shoes or slippers that have rubber soles. See the posters in the halls for more information, and start planning your spirit week outfits now!                                      
  • Pop and Frozen Fridays is here today! Stop by the Mustang Corral today after school to pick up yummy treats including LOTS of new flavors from Kilwin’s, Walrus, and Mary Mountain Cookies including Sea Salt and Caramel, S’Mores, Lemon Sorbetto, Cotton Candy, Blue Moon, And Chocolate and Mint with Edible Cookie Dough.
  • Today is Restart Friday! Regular and specialty ELO Teachers: please remind your students to restart their laptops today to refresh connections and process updates. And don’t forget to also restart your classroom spare laptop. Thank you for helping to keep our laptops in tip-top shape!
  • Congratulations to our Symphony Orchestra on their performance at the Nordic Festival yesterday! The Symphony Orchestra earned the highest possible rating from both judges and received many compliments on their preparedness and their excellent musicianship! Bravo, Orchestra!

  • Pixels and Pencils meets today from 3:15 to 4:15 in Ms. Houston’s art room (509)       
  • TSA (Technology Student Association) meets Monday morning from 7:20 to 8:00 am in Mr. Lardner’s Room (409)
  • Animal Lovers Alliance meets on Monday after school from 3:15 to 4:15 in Ms. Eitsert’s Room (313)
  • Baking Club meets on Monday after school from 3:15 to 4:30 in Room 300
  • Fitness Club meets on Monday after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in the Fitness Room by the small gym
  • Animation Club meets on Monday after school from 3:15 to 4:15 in Mrs. Springett’s Room  323

 

Athletics:

  • The Boys Basketball team will scrimmage Timnath on Wednesday of next after school in the Kinard gym. 
  • Attention all Wrestlers - We will start hosting optional off season open mat work outs in the coming weeks. The first opportunity for anyone interested in participating in wrestling to learn about the sport and work out with the team will be on Thursday of next week in the small gym from 3:30 - 5pm. Wear comfortable workout clothes and bring a water bottle.
