Important Information:

  • ATTENTION STUDENTS IN KINARD’S GIFTED AND TALENTED PROGRAM:

On Wednesday, September 14, ALL students in Kinard’s GT Program will return to the media center for the GT Liftoff and ALP Mini-Fair!  This is a required meeting with Mrs. Grigg, Kinard’s GT Coordinator.  Please remember to bring your sack lunch on Wednesday and your GT Lunch Pass which will be delivered to you. Students will cruise the ALP Mini-Fair led by their peers and explore many different options for choosing goals.   Please see Mrs. Grigg in the GT office, room 306, downstairs orange pod, for any questions.  See you on September 14th!

  • How would you like to be the next Morty the mustang? We need one student with Kinard spirit and energy to wear our mascot costume at an upcoming high school football game. If you are interested, pick up a permission slip from the media center, fill it out with your parents and turn it in by this Thursday. We’ll pick one lucky winner next week.
  • Picking up any sports equipment outside after lunch recess is over would be a great opportunity to demonstrate pride in our school during the Kinard Challenge this week.
  • Please check the LOST & FOUND for any items you may have lost before our three day weekend!

Clubs:

  • MathCounts starts today. We will meet in the media center from 3:15-4:15. You do not need to sign up, but you can see Ms. Bonertz in the office or at lunch if you have any questions or need more information.
  • Fitness club is tomorrow in the small gym right after school until 4:15pm.
