Challenge: How can you change your thoughts and words to ensure the destiny you want for yourself? Make sure your thoughts, words, and actions are positive towards yourself and others. Have a growth mindset and truly believe that in the words of our namesake Hal Kinard “I can and I will!”

- Classroom Spare Laptops
Did you recently borrow a classroom spare laptop and forget to return it? Many classrooms are missing their spare laptops! Please check your lockers and backpacks for classroom spare laptops and return to the designated classroom as soon as possible so they are available to all students. - ATTENTION 6TH, 7TH AND 8TH grade students with Career Mentorship ALPs: There is an optional Career Mentorship meeting today during ELO with Mrs. Grigg for support to be ready for interviewing your Career Mentor. If you have not prepared your questions yet, please come to the media center today with your yellow GT pass for ELO. If you are needed in another ELO today, please go to that teacher instead, and then stop by the GT office this week or email Mrs. Grigg.
- The PE department is selling Diabolos (Chinese yo-yos) this week for $22. If anyone wants to purchase one, please come see Mr. Furtner or Mr. Benson.

- Please welcome a few incoming 5th grader students today as they will be shadowing Kinard for the first half of the day! Show them what you enjoy about being a student at Kinard!
Clubs:
- Fitness club is after school today in the small gym from 3:15-4pm.
- Math Counts is tomorrow in the Media Center from 3:15pm-4:15pm.
- Running club is also tomorrow outside from 3:15-4pm.
Athletics:
- Our boys basketball teams play Timnath today! The varsity and jv teams play here at Kinard and will be released at 2:30. Our C1 and C2 teams will be traveling to Timnath and will be released from class at 1:45.
- Kinard girls basketball and wrestling starts in January! Girls basketball camp starts the first day back from winter break; January 5th. Wrestling camp begins on Monday, January 9th. Do you want to participate? GREAT! You need to have a current physical, have registered and paid your athletic fee. Please see Mrs. Arnold in the media center if you have any questions.
