Daily Announcements

Important Information:

  • National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day

 

  • The PE department is selling Diabolos (Chinese yo-yos) this week for $22. If anyone wants to purchase one, please come see Mr. Furtner or Mr. Benson.

 

  • Please welcome a few incoming 5th grader students today as they will be shadowing Kinard for the first half of the day! Show them what you enjoy about being a student at Kinard!

 

Clubs:

  • Fitness club is today after school until 4pm in the small Gym. 
  • STEM club is tomorrow after school from 3:15-4pm in Room 315 . Please see Mrs. Ashe if you have any questions.
  • Running club is also tomorrow outside the gym from 3:15-4pm.

 

Athletics:

  • Our boys basketball teams play Wellington today!  The varsity and jv teams play here at Kinard and will be released at 2:30.  Our C1 and C2 teams will be traveling to Wellington and will be released from class at 1:15.
  • Kinard girls basketball and wrestling starts in January!  Girls basketball camp starts the first day back from winter break;  January 5th.  Wrestling camp begins on Monday, January 9th.  Do you want to participate?  GREAT!  You need to have a current physical, have registered and paid your athletic fee.  Please see Mrs. Arnold in the media center if you have any questions.

Menu:

  • Today the lunch options are:
    • Asian orange chicken or beef
    • Ham or turkey and cheese sandwich
    • Supreme pizza
  • Served for breakfast tomorrow is a pancake sausage wrap.
