Today, August 26th, is Women’s Equality Day—a day that reminds us how important it is for everyone to be treated fairly and equally, no matter their gender.
This day marks the anniversary of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which was passed in 1920 and gave women the right to vote. Women's Equality Day is not just about history—it's also about continuing to make sure that everyone has the same opportunities to learn, lead, and succeed. At our school, that means respecting one another, listening to each other's ideas, and standing up for fairness. So today, let’s take a moment to appreciate the strong women in our lives—our teachers, family members, community leaders, and friends—who inspire us every day.
