Katie Ashe is a 6th grade social studies/science teacher at Kinard Core Knowledge Middle School. This is her 17th year being a Mustang, and she previously taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade history, as well as Creative Foods. Before coming to Kinard, Katie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Colorado State University (go Rams!). She also received her MA in reading from the University of Northern Colorado. Outside of school, Katie enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, Paul, and her twins, Colton and Blakely. She also visits her parents and sister in Idaho Falls, Idaho as often as possible. When Katie is not teaching, she is reading, cooking, or spending time outdoors. She also loves playing soccer and has recently taken up golf.
