Michaela Eitsert is a Social Studies and Science Teacher at Kinard Core Knowledge Middle School. This will be her third year at Kinard, although she has been teaching for 7 years. She has previously taught at schools in Indiana, Maryland, Virginia, Spain, and even spent a summer teaching American Government in Poland.
Michaela graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Social Studies Education, and completed her masters degree in American History at Gettysburg College.
She is originally from Indiana, but has lived in many different parts of the United States thanks to her husband's Air Force career. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing with her dog, Ike, and traveling the world.
She is thrilled to be a part of the Kinard community and hopes to inspire students to become lifelong learners and critical-thinkers.
