Important Information:

  • Thank you for supporting CANS Around the Oval. We appreciate your help in making a difference in our community. We need your help in reaching our goal of $6,000 and 3,500 pounds. Friday will be our next day for you guys to donate. Please support those in desperate need of food by donating on Friday. Thank you for your help. Please donate!
  • October is Futures Month!  Did you notice how many people are wearing college shirts? If there is a school you are not familiar with, don’t be afraid to ask where it is located or what is their school mascot.

 

Clubs:

  • Fitness Club meets today after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in the Fitness Room by the small gym.
  • Give Next meets today from 3:15 to 4:00 in Mrs. Houston’s classroom Room (509)
  • Science Bowl meets today from 3:15 to 4:15 in Ms. Eitsert’s Room (313)
  • Social Justice Learning Team meets today during ELO in the Media Center
  • The first meeting of the student-led Study Club is today, October 8th, in Mr. Costello’s room (416) from 3:20-4:10 p.m. This club is open to all students and aims to create a supportive environment that helps reduce academic stress and improve productivity. Whether you need to catch up on assignments, want to stay on top of schoolwork, or want a quiet space to focus, this is the place for you! We focus on building good habits, managing time wisely, and supporting each other in a respectful, encouraging environment. We look forward to seeing you there!
  • Dungeons and Dragons Club is cancelled for tomorrow and will return next week.
  • Calling all scientists! Do you love discovering how things work, solving cool challenges, and preparing for science competitions against other middle schools with your fellow Mustangs? Then Science Olympiad is the club for you! This club is for all interested 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Please stop by Ms. Blumberg’s classroom, Room 526 upstairs in the green pod to pick up a registration form, or if you have any questions! Hurry quick, because registration closes this Friday!

 

Athletics:

  • Our Volleyball Varsity Girls play for the District Championship tonight at Fossil Ridge High School at 6:30 pm. Students are welcome and encouraged to come cheer the girls on! Good Luck Girls!
  • Football is playing in the playoffs today at Boltz, release players at 1:35, load bus at 1:55.  Good Luck Boys!
  • Cross Country has a District Championship meet tomorrow at Spring Canyon Park. The race starts at 3:00pm.

    • Ham or Turkey and Cheese Sandwich
    • Protein Box
  • Breakfast tomorrow will be Breakfast Sausage Pizza
