- October is Futures Month! Did you know there are 3,982 two-year and four-year colleges and universities in the United States? There are so many choices for where to pursue your future education! Explore and find which ones match your goals and interests.
- Pop and Frozen Fridays is here tomorrow! Stop by the Mustang Corral tomorrow after school to pick up yummy treats including LOTS of new flavors from Kilwin’s, Walrus, and Mary Mountain Cookies including Sea Salt and Caramel, S’Mores, Lemon Sorbetto, Cotton Candy, Blue Moon, and Chocolate and Mint with Edible Cookie Dough.
Clubs:
- Dungeons and Dragons Club is cancelled today and will return next week.
- Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Teens Club will meet tomorrow from 7:30 to 8:00 am in Room 300
- Pixels and Pencils meets tomorrow from 3:15 to 4;15 in Ms. Houston’s art room (509)
- Calling all scientists! Do you love discovering how things work, solving cool challenges, and preparing for science competitions against other middle schools with your fellow Mustangs? Then Science Olympiad is the club for you! This club is for all interested 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Please stop by Ms. Blumberg’s classroom, Room 526 upstairs in the green pod to pick up a registration form, or if you have any questions! Hurry quick, because registration closes this Friday!
Athletics:
- The Varsity Volleyball Team played two spectacular games yesterday and brought home the district championship trophy! The energy from the crowd and the effort on court were both tremendous! Congratulations Champs!
- Our football team had a big win last night and will play in the second round playoff game on Tuesday. Good job boys!
- Cross Country has a District Championship meet today at Spring Canyon Park. Release runners at 1:10, load bus at 1:30. Race starts at 3:00. Good Luck Runners!!
