Elizabeth Smith is an Integrated Services teacher in the Multicategorical program, and this is her 1st year as a Mustang.
Ms. Smith has a bachelor's degree in special education from the University of Northern Colorado. Ms. Smith also has her master's degree in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis on effective classroom management from American College of Education. This will be Ms. Smith's eighth-year teaching. Her previous teaching position was at Cherry Creek High School in the ILC program. Ms. Smith also had the wonderful opportunity to coach Unified sports. She has coached Unified basketball, flag football, soccer, and track. Ms. Smith is excited to be a Kinard Mustang and is looking forward to working with the amazing staff, families, and students.
When Ms. Smith is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her significant other, family, friends, and dog. Ms. Smith and her family enjoy spending time at the lake and paddle boarding. Some of Ms. Smith's other interests and hobbies include reading, hiking, kickboxing, and watching new shows on Netflix.
