Important Information:

  • Kinard students & teachers!  Today is RESTART Friday during ELO!  Make plans today during your ELO class to restart your laptop.  Your laptop will thank you!

  • We are now going to announce the Kinard Character Award for this week!  These 2 students were nominated by their peers and staff as representing Kinard Character. The 2 winners are Wrenn Fabrizio and Aiden Luttles!   Congratulations Wrenn and Aiden!  We are so proud of you!  Please go to the Main Office today to receive your AMAZING prize!

  • Today is the LAST day to claim your lost and found items!  Please stop by our lost and found to claim any items that you have left here at school. 
  • The Kinard Winter Read-a-Thon starts tomorrow!  winners will be announced during the morning announcements on Monday, January 10th. Cozy up with a great book and win prizes!

  • The PE department is selling Diabolos (Chinese Yo-Yos) until Friday. Please see Mr. Anaya or Mrs. Jordan before or after school to purchase yours before winter break! They are $20 each. 

Sports:

  • Basketball for 7th and 8th grade girls as well as 7th and 8th grade wrestling starts right after the holiday break.  For basketball there will be an optional preseason camp on January 4th, 6th and 7th from 3:15-5:00 p.m.  Tryouts for both teams will be January 10th through 12th from 3:15-5:30 p.m.  If you have any questions, see Ms. Irvine or Ms. Archibald.  There are three steps you will need to take to participate; register on sports engine, have a current physical on file and pay your $120 fee.  When all three steps are complete you will receive an ORANGE ticket which is your ticket to participate.  See Mrs. Arnold with any questions regarding the sign up process.

  • Today for lunch we are serving cheese pizza, buffalo chicken pizza or Italian sandwich, cheeseburger or chicken patty sandwich.
