Thursday, October 6, 2022 is our virtual parent/teacher conference day at Kinard! If you have signed up for virtual conferences, please read below to help you have a successful conference experience.
- Click the link to see a comprehensive list of each Kinard teacher’s Google Meet links. Each teacher’s meeting link is also included in their specific Sign Up Genius.
- Please be sure to join the meeting link for the teacher you’ve scheduled in a timely manner. Virtual conferences will run approximately 5-7 minutes, similar to in-person conferences, to allow teachers time to transition to the next family promptly.
- You will need to click the blue “Ask to Join” button on the Google Meet.
- When the teacher is ready to begin your conference, they will accept you into their Google Meet. Until that time, your screen will include a message that says "You'll join the call when someone lets you in."
- You will need to use a computer with microphone and video capabilities. If you do not have a personal computer at home, you could borrow your child’s school laptop for the conferences.
In-person conferences on October 11: As a reminder, we will also be hosting in-person, drop-in style conferences on Tuesday, October 11th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. If you were not able to schedule a virtual conference with a teacher or prefer to meet in-person, we hope you will join us then.
